Cordonnier, Isabel

My name is Isabel Cordonnier and I am thrilled to be joining Brinker Elementary as your new school counselor!  

I hold a Master’s degree in Education in Counseling and Development, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Bilingual and ESL Education. Prior to stepping into the world of counseling, I taught bilingual first grade for 12 years at Mendenhall Elementary, serving as team leader for eight of those years.  

As the school counselor, I will be conducting guidance lessons biweekly in each class and small group counseling as needed to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students. My goal is to work closely with staff, families, and students to foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. I believe that strong relationships, open communication, and collaboration are key to helping our students thrive.
